1. Who we are

models.au operates a modelling portfolio and scouting service for Australia. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Because modelling submissions involve images and personal details — sometimes of young people — we hold ourselves to a high standard.

2. What we collect

Browsing this site requires no account and sets no cookies; we run no analytics or advertising trackers. We collect what you submit through a form: a model submission (your name, date of birth, division, location, stats, optional links to your digitals/socials, and contact details) or a domain enquiry (name, email, optional company, budget and message).

3. How model submissions are used

Your submission and any digitals are reviewed privately by our scouting team to assess fit for representation. We do not publish, share, sell or use your images or details for any other purpose without your written permission. If you are signed, any public use of your portfolio is agreed with you separately and in writing.

4. Applicants under 18

Minors must be submitted by a parent or guardian, who provides consent for the submission and attends any casting. We do not knowingly accept direct submissions from people under 18, and we apply additional care to any information concerning a minor.

5. How submissions travel

Forms are delivered by FormSubmit, a third-party relay, to our review inbox. Please don't include anything you wouldn't want in an email; links to digitals are preferable to attachments, and you control who can access those links.

6. Retention, access & deletion

Submissions are kept while relevant to scouting or an active relationship, then deleted in periodic clean-ups. You can ask what we hold, correct it, or have it and your images deleted at any time — just ask. Complaints can also be made to the OAIC (oaic.gov.au).
